Update 2/7/2017:

The Military Open Simulator Enterprise Strategy (MOSES) team is working hard to get a new release ready for the public. Recent work by the MOSES team tested by members of IMA include: a web-based OAR viewer and a grid version of the Halcyon derivative with the Freeswitch voice option. Given the complexity of Freeswitch this is a welcome option since it is private and can meet HIPPA and security requirements that third party voice solutions cannot.

Upcoming work by the MOSES team includes porting Halcyon with PhysX to Linux which allows them to build a new MOSES-in-a-Box (MIAB) version easily configured and self-hosted similar to the Open Simulator Sim-on-a-Stick (SOAS). Additional efforts may include the groundwork for the Inter-Grid Interoperability (IGI) standards and functionality that does not currently exist for the Halcyon derivative Open Simulator.

For those not following the MOSES team yet, you can find releases at the MOSES github here.

Founders of IMA await code releases and continue to support the MOSES team as members of the MOSES community. We see this as a stepping stone necessary to address known security issues with Open Simulator and help the legacy Open Simulator developers and community.
